The LHS Key Club helping Habitat for Humanity clear a disabled veteran’s yard!

The LHS Key Club had an eventful Saturday this past weekend. We helped Habitat for Humanity clear a disabled veteran’s yard. His yard was so overgrown that the city was threatening him with daily fines until he cleaned it. This was such a rewarding day for all of us as we were able to see how important our availability and desire to serve others impacted someone else’s life. John Bunyan said, “You have not lived today unless you have done something for someone else who can never repay you.” These students lived and continue to live their lives with a heart and attitude of service.
